Whew - long time, no post! I hope everybody has been enjoying the last of the school year and looking forward to late nights and long, summer days. It's been a busy semester here but I think it's finally starting to wind down. Mel and I got our first craft show under our belts at the beginning of May, and we couldn't have hoped for a better experience. We learned so much and took note of things we can tweak and improve on for next time. But, before we even think about the next show- there are some well overdue thank you's in order.
My mom, gran, and Mel's mom came up to Fayetteville and helped us with more than I could list. From helping with set up and keeping sanity around, to contagious laughter and well-kept company, they made the weekend a memorable one and I don't think we could've made it without them. Mel's mom, Ashlie, made essential oil bath bombs to sell at the booth and they were such a hit!! Between Melodie's candles and Ashlie's bath bombs, we were the best smellin' booth in that place. If you want to check 'em out, everything is on www.fayettevillevintage.com for purchase. The list goes on for those who deserve a big hug around the neck. To Karen and Bill who hosted the craft show and were so welcoming to us newcomers- to all of the supportive family, friends, and craft show goers along the way who have encouraged us along this journey - to my more than generous family and family friends, Jordan and Angie, who have supplied more wood than I can keep track of for signs - to Grandpa who came all the way from Mena to stop by and visit - to Austin for starting the day with some good ol' Chick-fil-A - and to those of you keeping up with the adventures and reading along - THANK YOU so much. The list still goes on, and we appreciate you guys with all of our heart.
We hope to see you at the next fair from October 19th-21st at the Washington County Fairgrounds in Fayetteville, AR. Until then, here's to growth, new experiences, and more memories in the bank.
